Invisalign refinement time. Similarly to your original treatment aligners, you will need to wear your new refinement aligners for 20-22 hours per day, 7 days a week. Invisalign refinement can add an extra 3 to 6 months to your treatment time, again depending on your personal case. Changing aligners to the next set can interfere with the progress of your teeth. Once you go back to the previous number of aligners, your dentist can order you a replacement aligner which can be made in just a few days and send to you. This way you ensure proper tracking of your teeth. Feel free to discuss all this with your dentist. All the best,
Ask to see your ClinCheck video. Chances are that your early aligners will be working on making room for other teeth to move. The front view of my teeth at tray 25 will look very much like the view before tray 1. These earlier trays are working on my lower teeth to improve the bite and tidy up the front (very minor crowding).
Underbite – With an underbite, the bottom teeth sit in front of the top teeth. This causes the lower jaw to stick out. In this case, your face before and after braces can look noticeably different. By correcting the imbalance between the upper and lower jaw and fixing the way the teeth and jaws meet, the lower half of your face will appear Invisalign doesn’t cause tooth discoloration, but it does require you to stay vigilant with your oral hygiene. If you don’t keep good oral hygiene during Invisalign treatment, plaque can accumulate under your aligners and potentially lead to tooth discoloration. The good news is that much of your oral health is determined by your own choices.

Removing attachments early? Hey - I just started Invisalign lite to correct my front two top teeth - I have 14 retainers in the treatment plan, the first 2 for 2 weeks then switching to 10 days. I am getting married at the end of March and on the current plan I think I'll be on aligner 12 by then - which fine it is what it is.

A quick summary: went to a new Dentist and was told I need invisalign to help w/ teeth grinding and preventing cavities. Was unsure but dentist was persistent so I agreed to do the scans. Got a 2nd opinion cause things still felt weird, other dentist said she doesn't see why I would need invisalign and that my bite looked fine.
Answer: If you stop invisalign early your treatment wont progress. Hi Bribri. If you were happy with your invisalign mid-treatment and you stopped, your teeth would either stay where they are if you wore a retainer, or possibly revert back if you didnt. Just make sure with your dentst that your bite is good and there are no spaces or other Invisalign should not be changed every 5 days because your teeth will not be able to shift properly during that period. According to the recommendations, Invisalign trays should be changed every two weeks, and it is not standard procedure to change them every seven days. You must wear Invisalign for 20 hours every day for it to be beneficial.
For a DIY mixture, combine equal parts water and distilled white vinegar in a cup and let your appliance sit in the solution for 10 to 20 minutes. If you have a bonded retainer after Invisalign, it’s essential to brush around the wire really well at least twice a day and continue to floss once daily.

Im halfway through my invisalign treatment and before I changed to my 7th tray, my 6th tray fit perfectly. Once I moved to the 7th one, it felt lose and not form fitting like my other previous trays. I can notice that on some teeth there are spaces. This makes my teeth not touch the bottom of the invisalign tray.
